Avocado oil

Avocado oil is produced from the pulp of the fruit of the Persea Gratisissima plant. Avocados are rich in micronutrients. It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins A, B, C, D and E, as well as minerals such as iron, magnesium, copper and potassium.

Avocado oil is a very penetrating oil due to its high oleic acid content. The outer layer of the skin easily absorbs phytosterols and other valuable nutrients from the oil, helping to prevent moisture loss and hydrate the skin. The antioxidants found in avocados, such as vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids, help relieve dry skin and symptoms of irritated skin conditions.

Avocado oil also acts as a moisturizing element by attracting water molecules to the skin and maintaining its moisture.

In hair care, avocado oil provides essential nutrients to the scalp and hair. It restores shine, moisturizes dry hair and damaged ends, helps to moisturize dry scalp, helps to seal the cells of the cuticle (the cuticle of the hair) and can help prevent hair breakage.
